How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account directly from the app. The steps differ slightly depending on your account type.

For Students

  1. Open the app and go to the Home tab.
  2. Tap your avatar (profile picture) in the top-left corner to open your Profile.
  3. Scroll down and tap "Delete Account".
  4. A confirmation dialog will appear. Read the warning carefully.
  5. Tap "Delete" to permanently delete your account.

For Teachers

  1. Open the app and go to the Settings tab.
  2. Scroll down to the Danger Zone section.
  3. Tap "Delete Account".
  4. A confirmation dialog will appear. Read the warning carefully.
  5. Tap "Delete" to permanently delete your account.

Important for Teachers: Deleting your teacher account will also permanently delete all classes you created, all activities and assignments, all lecture materials, and all associated student progress data within those classes.

For Personal Users

  1. Open the app and go to the Home tab.
  2. Tap your avatar (profile picture) in the top-left corner to open your Profile.
  3. Scroll down and tap "Delete Account".
  4. A confirmation dialog will appear. Read the warning carefully.
  5. Tap "Delete" to permanently delete your account.

What happens when I delete my account?

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed and cannot be recovered:

This action is irreversible. Once your account is deleted, there is no way to recover your data. Please make sure you want to proceed before confirming.

Can I recover a deleted account?

No. Account deletion is permanent and immediate. Once deleted, your data cannot be restored. If you wish to use Math Swipe again, you will need to create a new account.
