• Students: First name, last name, middle initial, username, and a 4-digit PIN. Students do not provide an email address.
• Teachers: First name, last name, middle initial, email address, and password.
• Personal users: First name, last name, email address, and password.

Usage Data

We automatically collect data about how you interact with the App, including:

• Questions answered, accuracy rates, and response times
• Game sessions, streaks, stars earned, and achievements unlocked
• Classroom enrollment and activity completion records

Device Information

We may collect basic device information such as device type and operating system version to ensure the App functions correctly.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and maintain the App's features, including game modes, progress tracking, and classroom functionality
• Personalize learning recommendations based on performance and weak topics
• Enable teachers to monitor student progress, assign activities, and generate reports
• Display leaderboards and achievement progress
• Improve the App and fix issues

3. Children's Privacy

Math Swipe is designed for use by students, including children under 13. We take children's privacy seriously and comply with applicable children's privacy regulations.

• Student accounts are created through a classroom system managed by their teacher.
• We collect only the minimum information necessary for students to use the App (name, username, and PIN).
• We do not collect email addresses from student accounts.
• We do not serve advertising to any users.
• We do not sell or share personal information of any users, including children.
• Student data is accessible only to the student and their enrolled teacher(s).

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information without your consent, please contact us at support@mathswipe.app and we will promptly remove the information.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share information only in the following circumstances:

• Within classrooms: Teachers can view the progress and performance data of students enrolled in their class.
• Leaderboards: Display names and scores may be visible to other users within the same classroom.
• Legal requirements: If required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), secure password hashing, and access controls. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App's services. When a student switches classrooms, their historical records in the previous class are preserved for the teacher's reference. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

7. Third-Party Services

The App may use third-party services for infrastructure and analytics. These services are bound by their own privacy policies and are used only to support the operation of the App. We do not integrate third-party advertising services.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:
